Dropbox – the awesome online file-storage, and syncing utility finally gets a Linux client! The developers have been promising a Linux client since day one and though it took them a while to get it – it’s finally here!
Right now a GNOME-only interface is avialable, and here are the Links
deb http://www.getdropbox.com/static/ubuntu hardy main
deb-src http://www.getdropbox.com/static/ubuntu hardy main
and you can get it via apt-get or Synaptic through DropBox’s repository.
Note that after installing you’ll have to restart nautilus, for this just logout and log back in, else just type
killall nautilus
at the terminal. Note that typing the above command while Compiz is enabled can lock up your PC, so just logout and log back in instead.
